cover A chilling thriller that crashes the screen barrier.

A conspiracy thriller of this sort is rarely seen. Masterful writing leaves no detail hanging, no doubt unplayed, no paranoia subdued, no surprise missed.  While we hope that the hero will somehow save the day, the ending magnifies hopelessness and the question of our safety way beyond the exit doors of the theater. Even Craig, who is rarely gripped by conspiracy theories, held tightly to his seat.

Powerful performances all the way around, especially Joan Cusack's subtle scene of turning a smile of syrupy sweetness into deadly menace.
